If you have desktop computer and traditional LAN base broadband connection or you have an datacard to connect the Internet in your PC. Now the question is you have an smartphone and want to connect internet connection through Wi-Fi, how to get it?

If you just want to share the internet connection from your PC to your smartphone, you should go for a Wireless USB adapter which you can get easily from any local shop between 200 to 500 rupees according to your requirements. now you just need to plug the WiFi USB adapter in your PC and download the free hotspot software such as my WiFi router, which convert your PC into wireless hotspot to connect other wireless devices like your smartphone.

You can also create wireless hotspot without any third party software using command line.

  1. Open command Prompt with administrative privilege and type netsh wlan show drivers. Now check the line ‘Hosted network supported: Yes’, the yes means you have a PC with hotspot driver installed.
  2. After the confirmation, type netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid=itechbestpractice key=[email protected]. you can keep the ssid and key as per your choice.
  3. In last step, you just need to start the hotspot by running the command netsh wlan start hostednetwork and when you done you can stop the service, just typing netsh wlan stop hostednetwork.

Now you are able to connect wifi in your smartphone on (itechbestpractices) ssid with their password ([email protected])
