Microsoft offers to download and try Office products for 30 days but you can use to extend office trial without paying and use it for 180 days. To extend the trial version for 180 days you can run a simple command 5 times on every 30th day of trial. So, you can get 30 more days to use the Microsoft office.
This method work for all office versions like Microsoft Office 2016, Office 2013, Office 2010 and for Office 365. To extend the trail just use ospprearm file in Windows built-in command prompt application. Let’s see how to extend the trial period for Office.
Method 1:
- Open the Windows Explorer and go to C: Drive.
- Open C:\Program Files (x86) (if you have Office 32 bit).
- Open C:\Program Files (if you have Office 64 bit).
- Search the file name “OSPPREARM.EXE” and execute the file.
- Now your Office trial will be extended.
Method 2:
- Open Command Prompt with Admin previliges.
- Browse the folder with this command “cd C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office15”. but please make sure OSPPREARM.EXE file must be on the folder you browse.
- Execute the command “OSPPREARM.EXE”
- Now your Office trial will be extended.
